Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
My name is Fr. Mykel (Michael) Giannakakos, and I am the Proistamenos (pastor) of St. George Orthodox Church in St. George, Utah.
My wife, Presbytera Sarah, and I have two young sons, Ashton and Jesse, and have lived in Utah since the summer of 2023 when we were first assigned to this parish community.
We have loved living in Utah and even more have loved watching this small mission steadily transform itself into a thriving parish filled with grand projects and wonderful parishioners.
Our prayer is that God will continue to direct this parish according to His will and that we might be that city set on the hill, which all men look to and see its light, and give glory to our Father who is in heaven.
